an unexpected find (Chinese) Hollywood

MufiesMom | Nov 10, 2005 09:01 PM

Last night I was looking for some Chinese takeout and it was around 11:00 p.m. I always thought those greasy takeout places were open late, but could not find one that was open. I stumbled upon a Chinese restaurant right near me that I never took notice of. It was FULL of Asian people eating there and the sign says they are open till 4:00 a.m. weeknights and 5:00 a.m. weekends. It looked like a place in Chinatown...fish in the tank (for eating), the roasted chickens (I guess...I'm a vegetarian) hanging from the hooks. They have the menu for the Americans and the menu for the Asians. If you want the real stuff I suppose you have to ask for the real Chinese menu. Since I eat so little of that type of stuff, I can't tell you any details about the menu, but I suspect is is authentic. Dragon City, 6706 and 6708 Stirling Road, Hollywood (corner of 67th Ave, just west of 441). (954) 894-8393 or 987-8448

s.m. koppelman, I think even you might like it : )
