I made my first trip to Tu Y Yo last Saturday night because of the largely favorable reviews I've heard and read. So much of the experience was really lovely - we went around 8 and were seated right away, the atmosphere was cozy and bright, our waitress was very sweet, and we tried our first micheladas which were scrumdiddlyumptious. However, I found that my entree was almost impossible to eat because it was so salty. I ordered the Camaron con Pulpo, which was highly recommended by our waitress. I thought the other spices and the quality of the seafood were great, but after the first few bites eating it became almost like a punishment. It takes a lot for me to send a meal back, especially if it's a dish that's new to me so I didn't even consider it. Perhaps it's supposed to be that salty? I will not let this prevent me from trying it again, but perhaps someone could suggest a better dish for me to try?
