Had dinner there tonight in the new Revere location. It was hopping, with a bunch of people waiting for takeout. The main dining room was full soon after we arrived at 6pmish and the bar dining room almost full. By the time we left they looked totally full and the people out front looked like they were waiting for tables.
The new space is a bit too kitschy for me, with cutesy cowboy hats hung around the room, but they put in the same style of old fashioned leather booths in the main room, which I liked.
We didn't see Pete but our server said he was in the kitchen- maybe that's why everything was so excellent.
Everything was REALLY great tonight. Ribs were perfect, with a lot of meat on them. The meat was juicy and the smoke and sauce flavors were just perfect. Pulled pork and brisket were excellent as well. The french fries were oversalted but obviously homemade. The onion rings were a bit too thick for my taste. Beans were great and hubby said the corn was good too.
Our server was a bit flustered by the crowds, but did a good job anyway. I wasn't thrilled when the check was dropped soon after we got our food. The only low point was they didn't have draft beer, so we had to settle for bottled beer.
