Actually, I think all of Urbanspoon has now made the transition to Zomato. Other than a more modern interface, they've now added the ability to comment on reviews (which may make it a more dynamic site.) Other changes either seem minor or are not apparent. I have a feeling the site may be more heavily moderated (similar to CH?) with fake or inappropriate reviews not making the cut. I am only basing this opinion on not seeing any amateurish reviews on the several pages I've visited. If you read the letter from the new CEO, it appears they want to compete more directly with Yelp. How will this happen? I'm not sure. What does mean for us in the Twin Cities? Well, Urbanspoon seems to have always been viewed as the black sheep among the food reviewing sites, with not even Yelpers taking the site too seriously. Maybe now, their status will somehow increase?
