With Thanksgiving right around the corner, let me ask my Chowhound friends for some help...
Every year for thanksgiving we have a butterball brand frozen turkey. Don't get me wrong, its always been delicious!!! ( <--in case my mother in law reads this!)
Seriously, I've always enjoyed the standard frozen butterball turkey for Thanksgiving, but this year I want to try to take things up a notch. Where in Houston do I go for the best turkey? Are there any types or brands of turkey I should consider for an elevated Thanksgiving experience? Would buying fresh make a big difference?
I know there are a LOT of people out there with a LOT of opinions on gormet quality food/cooking in the Houston area. I would love to know your thoughts!
