Need Turkey Parts ASAP

julieapfel | Nov 19, 201412:27 PM     25

Hey there - anyone know of places around Boston/Cambridge/Somerville or Metro West (Newton/Needham/Wellesley) that carries turkey parts now? As opposed to Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday? I am looking for wings, leg/thigh pieces, necks, gizzards, hearts and liver. Both nearby (to me) Whole Foods says they'll start cutting up birds and selling the parts starting Monday but I was really hoping to get started on stock and possibly some confit legs this weekend. I realize I can just buy a whole bird and cut it up myself but I need more than 1 birds' worth of parts and I actually don't need or want the breast. Thanks!
