I've read just to put salt/pepper and let it on low for 8 hours....seems too simple.
I'm making it for easter, as well as a ham (don't ask!) and only have 1 oven and I hear great things about the crockpot for turkey.
Any suggestions? Do I brown it first? and if so, how? and is it really as easy as just salt and pepper and low? No carrots celery onions?
