On Friday we had an early dinner at this restaurant which is at 119-04 Metropolitan (corner Lefferts). We ordered some chicken empananadas to start and also half a chicken, plantains, the pernil con moro and a bistec encebollado. everything was very well prepared.

the empanadas were fried in a yellow corn shell and came with a very tasty green hot sauce. the pernil was outstanding. the pork was perfectly seasoned and the moro was a nice side. we were fighting over the pernil. the chicken was juicy and well seasoned, and the bistec was also delicious.

we also had a pitcher of sangria which was simple but delicious. it wasn't too sweet or watered down like in some places.

we had a tres leches and a flan for dessert. i thought the flan was just ok. i preferred the tres leches.

they take credit cards and they also deliver. we'll definitely be back!
