Went to Truck in Bedford last night and it was great. Most of their food seems to be sourced from Farms and many of the offerings are organic, as well as sustainable, something you don't usually see in many restaurants. Most of the meals are ala carte, but there are some combo options. My husband got the trio of tacos, grass- fed beef, organic chicken and sustainable pork. All were great and came with a side of their cilantro scallion rice, which was refreshing and better than the usual Mexican rice, and beans. I chose a cheese enchilada, which was two flat tortillas, sandwiched with cheese and covered with a delicious red sauce and a beef taco, beans (black, with a hint of smokiness to them and organic!) and rice. All had a really yummy sauce on top, I think a chipotle one, so good! Unfortunately the chips and salsa aren't complimentary, but the chips are house made and the salsa was fantastic, and we were offered a refill. I had a Mexican coke with my meal (no HFCS!) and my husband had a Limeade, which tasted freshly made and was so good! I really appreciate what Truck is trying to do with the quality of their food and will gladly pay a little more for fresh, locally sourced food. As a tip, we went around 5:30pm on a Sat, when they open, and about 20 minutes later, the place was packed!
