I LOVE peaches. But even in the peak of summer, at least with the california peaches that seem to dominate the market, it seems that i can find only one delish peach for every 20 bad/mediocre ones. you have the duds that never ripen. and the tart or cardboard tasting ones. and why are blueberries so expensive this season?? 3 bucks for a tiny half pint or even smaller container?? PS: by contrast, nectarines rarely disappoint.
