I want to bring a couple of bottles of champagne from boston to st.louis via airplane due to large price differences, and I'm wondering, what's the best way to do this?
Should I pack them in the suitcase that will be checked, or would that be risking the quality of the bubbly? Or should I pack them in my carry-on, and does anyone know if this will cause me some security issues?
I love this champagne, it's my new favorite drink, period. It's Henriot, Cuvee des Enchanteleurs, 1988, and it is WONDERFUL at a ridiculous price of $60 at my wine store down the street. They come in their own boxes, so I wouldn't have to wrap them, just make room for them in my luggage.
All help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!
