Trattorias in Rome

drb | Aug 24, 201111:05 AM     6

My wife and I have four Sept. nights in Rome (including one Sunday) and would appreciate restaurant recommendations (yes, I have searched the board). We enjoy local fare when we travel but we are not foodies; just looking for simple non-touristic modestly-priced (25-30 Euro pp?) places. Antipasti, pasta, grilled/roasted meats preferred; we'll snack on pizza and, after Rome, we travel to the Amalfi coast so we will do our fish binging there. Wine lists not a factor - we are plonk drinkers and will no doubt be happy with house wines. We are staying on the Corso Vittoria Emanuelle in the historical center, but plan on walking all over the place.

Thanks for your advice.
