Had a nice lunch the other day in BURANO VENIZIA, at Al GATTO NERO. It was a chilly day so the table next to the fire was appreciated. The standout dish was RISSOTTO ALLA BURANESE. A preparation made with Goby Fish, a small delicate local fish. The grilled assorted local seafood was also very good as well as the grilled langoustines.
Today, in PADOVA it is unusually warm and sunny so all the piazze are filled with tables from the surrounding cafes, and there is not a seat available! When the sun shines, make it count!!
