Transporting Spiral Ham

pumpkinspice | Dec 18, 201810:33 AM     2

I have a 12 lbs spiral ham to bring to a potluck this weekend (amongst other things).

We will arrive around 3PM and likely eat around 6. I won’t be able to monopolize the oven to cook this thing so what is the best approach to make sure thing piggy stays moist? I should also note that we are about a 10-15 minute drive

Should I cook at home and bring whole and slice there (rewarming the slices in foil if need be?) or should I warm and slice at home (I am assuming it will get cold now) and rewarm the slices in foil? Will this even yield good results?

Trying not to get into the hostesses way too much but also not make something totally inedible!
