I am looking for a restaurant that serves either traditional Southern food or low country cooking in the greater LA area. Willing to travel quite far. Haven't been able to find such a thing. Looking for dishes such as fried okra, shrimp and grits, crab boil, fried catfish, cornbread or spoonbread, fried shrimp...she-crab soup, pilau, etc. Looking for authentic food, rather than New American interpretations of these dishes.
