Trader Joe's Heirloom Tomatoes

chowfish | Aug 11, 200301:02 AM     4

Never saw heirloom tomatoes @ TJ's before today--bought 1 pound of heirloom tomatoes for $2.79. They were quite good. Every container had a different assortment. I selected one with 2 small zebras, a decent sized Brandywine, a medium sized purple Cherokee and a yellow tomato I couldn't identify. Also scored a tasty new (to me) cheese--Belle Blance gouda goat. Looked for gazpacho--vaguely remembered talk on the board of TJ gazpacho--but manager of the Lafayette store said they had never carried it. Searched posts but couldn't find it. Anyone else remember?
