Tracking COTM reviews

Karen_Schaffer | Mar 14, 2012 10:34 AM

Fellow COTMers, do you do anything special to track your COTM reviews? Make notes in the cookbook itself? Keep a special electronic list, in Chowhound, MS-Word, or something else? Is there a good Chowhound trick for this? I find my 'Recent Threads' page quickly gets too cluttered to be useful.

More than once I've looked at an old COTM thread to check out a particular recipe I'm thinking of making, and have been astonished to find that I already made it and reviewed it! (And I used to have such a great memory.) I've started making at least some notes in the books themselves (in pencil, of course). And I've also been posting some of my reviews on EatYourBooks since I frequently use that to narrow down my recipe searches.

What are your techniques?
