Tournesol: Where's the Beef?

Tournesol is located on Vernon Blvd. in LIC Queens near the entrance to the midtown tunnel. We had dinner for four early Sunday evening.
Cucumber Gazpacho: Nice tomato base but very heavy on the spice. OK taste.
Sauteed Calamari with beets: Too much salt marred on otherwise outstanding dish.
Hanger Steak with Fries: When I first looked at my plate all I could see was an enormous portion of shoestring fries. On second glance I noticed the smallest portion of steak I've ever seen as an entree. The five bite-sized charcoal broiled pieces tasted fine but were served at room temperature. Two accompanying sauces (pepper/cream) were one-dimensional. The potatoes became soggy after a few minutes.
Halibut: A bland, dry portion of fish served with bean salad. The absence of a nice sauce in this French bistro was puzzling.

Best part of our meal was the fresh crusty bread. The four of us skipped dessert in favor of a hasty exit.
