I will be in Tokyo with several other people this coming week and then on to Kyoto. We will be staying in SHINJYUKU although we can certainly dine outside that area. I would welcome suggestions for both cities. I realize that my query is overly broad since there are so many different specialties of Japanese food. In particular, we are interested in shushi and robatayaki. My husband and I enjoyed Inakaya (in Rappongi)some years back but I have no idea how it compares with other Tokyo restaurants. I'm a novice when it comes to sake but would like to go to at least one sake bar.
