I'm going to be in Tokyo for nine days in April. I'm hoping to try all types of Japanese cuisine -- udon, soba, ramen, sushi, yakitori, shabu shabu, tempura, etc. Planning on having mostly moderately-priced meals, but will probably splurge for a couple.
I'm definitely planning on having a sushi breakfast at Tsukiji Market, and will be visiting the food halls at the department stores.
But any other restaurant/cuisine recommendations would be much appreciated.
