Had the best lunch at Tocqueville on Friday. The $20.04 prix fixe was great; would have done the wine pairing that brought it to $35, but didn't want to fall asleep at the movies. The butternut squash soup was great - not too heavy, as many are. The smoked trout/apple salad was interesting and tasty. The chicken main course was wonderful (something I don't usually say about chickedn) and the monk fish was also quite good. Both desserts were fantastic too (even though I was skeptical of the fennel panna cotta when I ordered it, it was great.) All in all one of the best under $100 meals that my husband and I have had in a long time.
