I have a great 1924 gas stove/oven in my kitchen, and it works really well, with one exception. It has only one medium sized oven compartment, and on holidays in particular, I often find myself short of oven space. I was thinking of attempting to remedy this problem by purchasing one of the larger toaster ovens, which I would use to make toast (pretty much every morning), but which could also stand in as an oven in a pinch. I noticed that DeLonghi sells what they describe as a "digital convection oven" that looks like it would also make toast, but before I shell out 180 bucks, I thought I'd see if anyone has thoughts/wisdom about this or other similar (better?) devices.
