Upon opening this bottle, I was perplexed at the nose. Something of a cross between Flinstone vitamins (yes, you read that correctly) and a chocolate covered cherry, especially the liquid like center. To me, this is light bodied and somewhat acidic bottle with pronounced red fruit, dominated by cherry and that strange childrens chewable vitamin aroma. Seemed to improve as the bottle emptied (solo effort on my part). Not really what I look for in a Zinfandel (more of a black fruit/vanilla fan) but can see where others may enjoy this style. The price (I think it was around $38) will have me looking elsewhere as there are some very worthy Zinfandels in the $15 - $25 range.
