Tivoli's delivery, and maybe restaurant ...

I have heard good things about this restaurant from, at this point, unknown sources. They have recently started delivering. How bad can delivered Italian food be, I asked myself. Well, it can be very bad and very overpriced. A few weeks ago, I ordered a pizza to be delivered, this restaurant is approx. 4 miles away from my house. I ordered and they told me it would be about a half hour. Over a hour and a half later, I called, irate to say the least, and was told that it was on it's way. After delivery, I called back and related how long we had waited, and was basically blown off. The pizza was good, not great, but pretty good for delivered pizza.
I decided to try them again tonight. Sigh. I ordered a 10-inch sub for hubby and an order of ravioli/spaghetti w/ meatballs for my son. The cost of the sandwich was around $6 and the order of ravioli was a hefty $11. I ordered the sandwich with everything on it, plus fried peppers. It came, smallish to say the least, and the fried peppers were thick slices of green pepper, barely warm, in otherwords, raw. Uggggg. The order of ravioli/spaghetti and meatballs, they forgot the meatballs and the order was just barely enough to feed my oldest son. Needless to say, I was very disappointed. I will be calling them on Monday, when I am not nearly so angry, and tell them about my delivery experiences with them. In the meantime, I would not suggest ordering their take-out, until they get things straightened out.
