Tito's Bakery in Chelsea

I've driven by this place a number of times and it reminds me of a bakery I saw in San Juan -- packed with locals. What's the deal? Has anyone been? Is it deliciously authentic (I hope I hope I hope) or Americanized and "eh"? I know they sell empanadas, tres leches cake, pasteles (turnovers), and something similar to panetela borracha.
