Here's something I unsuccessfully tried to post earlier today:
Dennis Ray Wheaton of Chicago magazine has a piece in the Times on the "hip, friendly" eateries out on
"Chicago's new dining strip," West Division. He runs down a few of his favorites--Fortunato, Mas, Mirai, Settimana, and one other--and reminds us all not to wander west of the train tracks, since, of course, that's where "the gangs thrive."
