Last night, sated, happy, I made my way from Mina's Restaurant to the F train stop. I noticed a new Tibetan restaurant nearby. It opened last Saturday. I looked inside, and saw a table of Tibetans conversing in Tibetan. Okay, it could have been Nepali, but when I greeted them in Tibetan they responded. I looked at the menu and it looked authentic. But what do I know? I sneaked into Tibet before individual tourists were permitted, and the only restaurants in Lhasa served bad, greasy Chinese food. But maybe this restaurant is worth trying.

Oh by the way I've noticed that there is always a crowd of people who appear to be Nepali hanging out on 74 St near the Pakistani sweet shop that is just across the street from Jackson Diner. Does anyone know if they are indeed from Nepal?
