I know how much everyone loves the thick broiled and grilled burgers of places like the Corner Bistro, etc. But is there anywhere in Manhattan that produces a really first-class traditional hamburger -- that is, one that is a thin disc cooked on a flat metal grill or griddle? The kind you used to get at drug stores and Woolworth's counters? Any advice at all will be acted upon immediately.
