I just went to Thien An this noon for lunch, at Hong Kong City Mall, and was duly informed by the proprietor's daughters that they were going to sell the shop after Thanksgiving.
The owner is selling the shop because it is too much of a hassle for her to run it, since she lacks workers to help her, and she had too many bad experiences with thieving workers.
I was rather sad to hear that news, since they make some of the best Vietnamese sandwiches in the whole of Houston, and serve up authentic Vietnamese cuisine at dirt cheap prices.
Maybe if everyone goes to ask them to reconsider, they might stay on...
Just to let you guys know, so that you can eat it while you can!
