Stuffing is my favorite dish at Thanksgiving and while I have often been the host over the years, I have never had the responsibility to make stuffing. I have been looking at recipes online and I'm overwhelmed.
What I do know: I will be putting as much as I can inside the bird (in cheesecloth) for a bit and then taking it out, mixing it with what didn't fit in the bird and finishing in a baking dish in the oven.
What I don't have is a recipe. I know I don't want to do cornbread. I know I can't do shellfish or pork due to dietary constraints of guests. I'm personally not a super big fan of dried fruits in stuffing but I know lots of people like that. Do any of you have a recipe you love that would fit into my guidelines? Any tips on the making of stuffing are appreciated!
