Thai Spice opened in Cloverdale a couple years ago. The owners previously operated the other Thai restaurant in town. I had noticed these friendly folks vending at the Friday Night Live food fair. Last summer I dropped in for an early dinner.

A menu card on the table promoted the day's special, an appetizer of green lipped mussels. I tried that and drunken noodles (pad kee mo). The noodles were okay, a bit low on the rice noodles and not as wet as I like this dish. Better were the mussels served with a well-tuned lime-chile sauce for dunking. That's what will bring me back.
