Thai desserts

Does anyone know a Thai dessert that does not involve either fruit or coconut milk? We're going to a small dinner party where the hosts are making green curry (chicken, probably) and the rice, and someone else is bringing Gewurztraminer and some sort of fruit salad with mint. That leaves dessert. Last night I was with some of these friends and lamely said something about bananas in coconut milk and was briskly informed that since coconut milk is in the curry, and fruit is already on the menu, I might want to come up with something else. Man! I don't know anything about Thai desserts, especially SIMPLE ones.
I could cheat and go for a sort of pan-Asian thing and get take-out rasmalai...our local Indian restaurant is very good, and everyone loves rasmalai. But does anyone have some simple ideas? I don't want to go buy a bunch of funky stuff like taro balls (sorry, taro lovers)....
