To make a long story short, half a dozen of us ended up for dinner at Thai Chili Cuisine (just off El Camino Real near the Santa Clara/Sunnyvale border) for dinner a couple of weeks ago, and I came away thinking it was better-than-average Thai food. Maybe because the area is hotbed (no pun intended) of spicy cuisines (Indian, Korean), but we asked for medium and it was pretty hot (at the upper end of what I find enjoyable). The other thing that struck me was that it wasn't too sweet -- the flavors were well-balanced and the dishes were well-executed. If I lived in the area I would certainly consider putting it in my restaurant rotation.
