I believe the negative comments are posted in earlier threads are accurate: there's no reason to go out of your way to eat here. Ribs are sloppy, basted in a sweet sauce. I tried to order the brisket without sauce, but it didn't work; came chopped with a sweet sauce too. But it's fundamentally clear that the underlying meat, slightly smoky thought it is, doesn't have anything going to separate it from the pack. Potato salad was cloying, fries were crispy but slightly cold, the beans were standard issue. The staff are pleasant but not remotely clued-up on BBQ - you'll find more experts sevring you at Virgil's.
