We had dinner at Terra Luna in N. Truro, MA for the first time last night. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal and will be back. It was mentioned on these boards a couple of years ago, but I thought it would be worthwhile to update that report.
It is a small restaurant, but nicely set out. The menu is also small, consisting of a half-dozen or so appetizers, four entrees and a number of pasta dishes. There are of course specials as well.
I started with an excellent Caesar salad - made with real anchovies for a change. Dick ordered "Authentic Thai Spring Rolls" - I was sure a mistake, but they were quite pleasant. I had a special striped bass entree, with sweet red peppers. It was properly cooked and well seasoned. Dick had linguini with shrimp which he thought was excellent.
We don't usually order desserts, but when in a new restaurant... I had a polenta-berry pudding -- sort of like a bread pudding made with polenta. Quite tasty. Dick had a coffee creme brulee that was not so good, but then I like my creme brulee unadulterated.
The tab with drinks and coffee came to $98.
They take reservations and as the season grows busier, it would be wise to reserve.
