Tel Aviv Restaurant (Great Neck) has a new chef and owner--Ginor is out

stuartlafonda | Nov 25, 201007:38 AM

When I ate there the other day I learned that Ginor had sold to his sous chef Amos Hayon, because the kosher authorities would not certify his place as long as he also owned the non kosher Lola down the road. The menu was unchanged right down to the same daily "specials". The food was still good but I wonder what will happen with a new chef and owner. On the other hand, when I ate at Lola last night Hayon was in the kitchen so maybe Ginor still does run the show at Tel Aviv.
