Taylor's Cafe - Scottsdale

Just got back from an exhausting business trip and took my car in to Danny's Family Car Wash on Northsight Blvd in Scottsdale. As I was exiting I noticed a sign for Taylor's Cafe in the same spot that used to be The Pima Deli. My curiosity got the best of me and I decided to call a friend and try it for lunch.

Taylor's (an outpost of the 44th st. location) has been open for a month....though no liquor license yet.
They have made some nice changes to the restaurant...added a bar and a plasma tv...where we could sit and enjoy the Masters Golf tournament and a yummy lunch.
They have also added a communal High top table which would be fun when they start serving dinner.

The lunch menu is pretty simple and straight forward...Salads, 17 to choose from all are $9.75). Sandwiches, and Burgers 26 different choices served w/ greens, fries, sweet potato fries all $8.95 and 5 Varities of Lavosh all $9.50. They also had a shrimp bisque and a chicken noodle soup as the daily specials.

I went for a cup of the bisque which was steaming hot and flavorful...had a nice smokiness to it. I also enjoyed the chicken tandoori wrap...w/ hummus...and a side of greens.
Everything was wonderful and the portions were huge.

My friend had a half turkey sandwich and the chicken soup since he was fighting a cold.
He seemed to be pleased with his choice as well..

Taylors also offers an extensive breakfast menu....opening at 6am 7 days a week!
I look forward to tryng it again this weekend.

Has anyone else been? Would love to know what everyone thinks!
