Little Tavern

Ilaine | Jan 15, 2005 09:26 PM

My younger son was craving a slider and complaining that Krystal and White Castle are so far away.

So we decided to try the nearest Little Tavern and take the trek to Laurel. It's on Route 1, 115 Washington Blvd. South, near Main St., sign says they are open 24 hours.

The little burgers are 70 cents, and remind me and older son a lot of Krystal burgers. Younger son says if Krystals are a 7, these are a 5.

No fries (only chips). No bathroom. There's what appears to be a bullet hole in one of the windows. The waitress/cook was very friendly and nice, and so were the regulars.

I bought three sacks of 12 at $7.95 each. Younger son ate all his 12, older son ate his 12 and some of mine. I ate 3 and got heartburn, but my gullet isn't what it used to be.
