Tasty Wonton Soup at Pho So 1 Boston (Dorchester)

I used to go to Pho So 1 Boston in the Fields Corner section of Dorchester a lot, but hadn't been there in a couple of years. We finally got back there last night, and ordered the fresh chicken spring roll app (excellent as usual) and a couple of entrees that we hadn't tried there before. My GF got the chicken vermicelli which was very good, although the chicken came in this one big clump that was dropped on top of the noodles and veggies rather than cut up throughout the dish. The wonton soup dinner entree that I got was outstanding, with tender, delicious pork dumplings (and a lot of them) mixed in a nice broth with slices of pork as well as a variety of greens, sprouts, etc. It was probably the best item I have tried at Pho So 1, though their pho ga isn't too far behind.

I had forgotten how much I liked Vietnamese food--hadn't had any in the past year or so. I definitely want to get back to some of my old favorites, including Pho Hoa (Dorchester) and Pho Yuen Dong (Quincy).
