Taste of Puebla in San Diego

The widening of the states of Mexico represented in the Mexican food scene of San Diego continues to grow. This comes with the Discovery of Lucy's Bakery or Panaderia on the corner of 30th and Imperial Ave.

They make Cemitas Poblanas. I am excited! You will be too if you check out these links:

The girl even showed me the proper sesame, slightly sweeter bread used for this specialty that they bake in-house. You can get pierna, milanesa, or ham.
I am hoping they use the mexican herb papalo which has this lovely nuanced herbal taste.
I can't wait to tell my Pueblan friends at work!
