Taste of Cambridge

Not a bad nite but I don't know if I need to go again (went to the 1st one two years ago). The lines for Formaggio's were incredibly long, made me wonder if people were confused when they first walked in and thought that was the line for everything. Or maybe they're just that popular, we didn't stand in line to find out. Nor did we stand in the booze lines, energy water was larger and more thirst quenching (kind of, give me a regular water any day). Best things were the grilled pineapple shortcake w/ creme fraiche from Sidney's, steak & salad from Rialto and choc. choc. chip cookie from Noir, duck rillette from somewhere (Craigie St. I think), cucumber w/ crab soup from Upstairs, and a good cracker w/ duck (maybe?) and boysenberry (or lingon or goose) tart from 16 Garden at the Sheraton Commander. We were told that the Oleanna veggie thing was great but again, wicked long line. I was surprised Polcari's didn't have a stand since their rest. is right there and their food was decent 2 years ago. Nothing was bad and it was a nice nite.
