I went to Tartine for the second time on Friday night. I got there early so it was easy to snag a sidewalk table and watch the world go by. Unfortunately my second experience at Tartine wasn't as promising as my first. For a starter I had French Onion Soup that was a bit bland and uninspiring (lacking depth of caramelized onion flavor). My main course was some sort of grilled pork cutlet topped with chooped garlic and scallion. Dry, dry, dry! There was a potato galette on the side which was greasy, greasy, greasy! I don't think this was the best experience. Is this a hit or miss place?

I posted photos on my blog if you want to check um out....
