Based on John Scar's recommendation LazyMF and I and a couple of other guys we work with went to Tampico for lunch yesterday. We ordered the whole grilled red snapper for four, and it was amazing. Huge fish on a huge platter, grilled with spices, and laying on a bed of grilled onions and peppers. John had recommended the diablo sauce, which we tried, but we ended up preferring to just squeeze fresh limes over the fish to enhance the flavor. The place impressed me from the start by serving chips, salsa, and even free queso when you sit down. Our waitress was not the most responsive, but we were there during the middle of the lunch rush.
I will most certainly be back!
