Firstly, thanks to all the Chowhounders who recommended this place.

Secondly, I wanted to report on my dinner there.
Although I was slightly turned off by the strip mall location, this place is quite a find. Dinner was very good. My lamb appetizer was the best dish of the night, topped with a sour cabbage slaw and resting on a corn cake. Perfectly cooked, spicy, sweet and sour. Definitely a must try. On another note, while the guacamole was good, it would have been nice to have more than 2 chips brought with it.

Service is slow and a bit inattentive. My husband and I are quick, and the whole dinner took an hour and a half, in a third full restaurant at 8 at night. (we are not the linger over wine people, unless on a weekend.)

Doesn't take AMEX, also annoying.

Overall, though, this is a good place, and really surprising given its location.
