tamales oaxacenos - YUM!

Hey guys, I never get to get on the old chow boards anymore (fascist bosses, how dare they expect me to work on their time?), but I wanted to say that I had the most scrumptious tamale at Tacos Nuevos Mexico in Park Slope recently...I've never had a oaxacan tamale before, so I have nothing to compare it to, but it was so good...moist, largish chicken chunks, a little carrot and potato and some sort of mole paste...I think it was $2. A word of caution, under no circumstances order the "fresh cantelope margarita" I know I should have known better, I'm usually not a frilly drink person, but hey it was hot, and fresh melon sounded fresh melon involved, it was all midori and very nasty. But get the tamales, yum yum YUM!!! (the place is on 5th Avenue somewhere around 11th Street.)
