Takeout options for a holiday dinner? if i cook the big meal this year it may kill me.

Chelsea Pearl | Dec 21, 201001:04 PM

We're moving 3 days after xmas, and though it makes me feel like a bad american i've decided to get our holiday meal from a restaurant. i've got to please both my midwestern mother and a toddler, so i'm considering Hill Country's whole smoked ham, mac and cheese, sweet potatoes, etc.

but i've never had their ham, and am having a surprising amount of trouble finding what other places offer the option. don't want to resort to whole foods.

open to any strange menus restaurants might be offering -- would love to do Mile End's jewish christmas dinner, but it's not really the right thing for this week -- as long as it gives us leftovers to help get us through the move.

(seriously, who moves with a two year old right after christmas? why did i think this was a good idea?)

any and all ideas welcome.
