I'm having a bit of a eater's block (as in writer's block, but with food). I mentioned to some folks at my new job that I liked a place in Chinatown that served authentic Taiwanese food, as opposed to "Boston Chinese" and they seemed to take it as a sort of challenge. Long story short, we are going to Taiwan Cafe tomorrow night (6 guys from work and me) and I'm suppose to do all the ordering. What would you order for 7 that is reasonably well-balanced, adventurous yet approachable, and, of course, really yummy? I feel uncharacteristically nervous about this, like my reputation as an office chowhound may be on the line...
