Tahitian vs Madagascar Bourbon

Greetings all,

I had a quick question about vanilla beans (and extract). I have seen both Madagascar and Tahitian vanilla pods and extract at the spice store, but I haven't had a chance to taste and compare them. Is it okay to use either one in cooking, or is the consensus that one of them is better suited for certain dishes?
