Everyone knows that Tacomiendo in Culver City is the best traditional (i.e. NON-TITO'S) taco west of downtown. Now, they've saved me 8 minutes of driving, by opening up on Pico and Gateway (across from MORI).
Adobado (grilled, marinated pork) tacos are great - the key is the fresh, handmade corn tortilla. If you are in a tito's mood, the taco dorado is a pretty close second to the best hard taco in the universe.
Prices this low can't last. Tacos are $1.65. Quesadillas w. loads of meat, guac, and sc $4. Take THAT, Baja Fresh. This location seems much fresher, newer, cleaner than the flagship. Check it out.
