Last night seven of us dined in the Szechuan Gourmet celebrating my daughter's 14th birthday. The more people going out to a Chinese restaurant, the better. We get to try a wide variety of dishes.

We started the meal with some spicy dumplings with that wonderful mouth numbing Sichuan peppers and some hot and sour soup. Our entrees included Crispy Sweet and Sour Sea Bass (my daughter's favorite), Tea Smoked Duck (my favorite), Shredded Beef with Leeks, Lamb Neck Casserole, Prawns and Sauteed String Beans.

I love this little restaurant. My boyfriend and I are there often though we have yet to try any dish more than 4 peppers. Yes, this place has dishes with 5 peppers. Anyone out there try a 5 pepper dish?
